This week we had the honour of hosting Cardinal James Harvey. He is our neighbour, the Archpriest of the Basilica of St Paul. He was the Prefect of the Apostolic Household under Pope St John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI. His role with them from 1998-2012 meant that he was with the Popes every day and so close to them. He sat on Tuesday with our community and gave personal recollections of his ministry with these great Pontiffs. It was an immense privilege to hear these memories which are printed nowhere. He was an inspiration and encouragement to our seminarians in the meaning of humble and loyal service and of how the Lord works through us as his disciples.
