Over the last several years we have used the anniversary of the opening of the Beda College on this site as a festive moment to mark the early days each new year.

It is an opportunity to invite friends of the College to enjoy a few convivial hours with the present members of the College community. This year it was a shared occasion with the Pontifical Scots College. Pope St John XXIII opened the present building on 20 October 1960. The College itself dates back to 1852.
